FiftyPlates Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

FiftyPlates helps you track license plates and states found during road trips. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.

Information We Collect

FiftyPlates may collect:

FiftyPlates does not collect advertising identifiers and does not use data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Location

Location access is optional. If granted, FiftyPlates uses foreground location to estimate the state you are currently in. The app does not save raw latitude or longitude to the FiftyPlates database.

Data Storage And Service Providers

FiftyPlates uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and server functions. Trip data is synced to Supabase for signed-in users. Some data is also stored locally on your device so the app can work offline and recover from temporary network failures.

Account Deletion

You can delete an email/password account from the Account screen in the app. Guest users can delete guest data from the Account screen. Deleting account or guest data removes the Supabase user account and associated trip data controlled by FiftyPlates.

Data Retention

We keep account and trip data while your account exists. Data is removed when you delete your account, except where retention is required for security, debugging, legal, or operational reasons.

Children

FiftyPlates is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
